Tribeca 2023: Shortcomings | Interview of Randall Park, Ally Maki, Justin H. Min and Tavi Gevinson

We were lucky to chat with director Randall Park and actors Ally Maki, Justin H. Min and Tavi Gevinson about Shortcomings, presented at Tribeca 2023.

Presented at Tribeca Film Festival 2023 in the Spotlight Narrative section, Shortcomings is a 2023 American comedy-drama film directed and produced by Randall Park (in his feature directorial debut), from a screenplay by Adrian Tomine, based upon his comic of the same name. This delightful feature, which follows a trio of young, Bay Area urbanites as they navigate a range of interpersonal relationships while traversing the country in search of the ideal connection, stars Justin H. Min, Ally Maki and Tavi Gevinson whom we were lucky to meet, along director Randall Park following the New York premiere of the film, which previously premiered at Sundance 2023.
