Tribeca Film Festival 2022: ‘Chicken’ (Interview of Josh Leong)

Following the World Premiere of short film Chicken at Tribeca 2022, we interviewed its director, Josh Leong.

The 2022 Tribeca Film Festival just came to an end. We were thrilled to attend the event and discover a number of gems we hope you’ll get to catch when they play near you. Among them is a 13-minute film entitled Chicken, a powerful and nicely crafted short film inspired by true events, directed by Josh Leong.

In Chicken, in a Bronx juvenile prison, a 16-year-old boy faced with losing custody of his child must discover what it takes to be a father through raising a chicken.

We were delighted to chat with Josh Leong, director of Chicken.
