Dumebi Ezekeke

Dumebi Ezekeke is a Nigerian writer, researcher, and creative storyteller. With a background in Law, Journalism, and Media, she writes both fiction and nonfiction that center African identity, culture, memory, and the experiences that rarely get enough space in mainstream conversation. At Film Fest Report, her focus is on African animation and films that reflect African society with honesty, particularly works with strong African themes, characters, and leads. She also covers animated films featuring Black leads across global festivals. Beyond film, Dumebi writes cultural essays and researches on African culture, storytelling, and creative expression.
